Painting Workshop

On November 15th, RAICES proudly hosted a painting workshop designed to foster creativity, artistic expression, and community engagement. The workshop was led by instructor Carolina Briones, who guided participants through a step-by-step art activity in a supportive and welcoming environment.

During the session, participants created a snowman-themed artwork, using drawing and painting techniques to bring their ideas to life. This activity encouraged imagination, fine motor skill development, and creative confidence, while allowing each participant to express their own unique style. The snowman theme also added a sense of seasonal fun and excitement, making the experience enjoyable for everyone involved.

The workshop emphasized the importance of art as a tool for self-expression, emotional well-being, and connection. Through guided instruction and hands-on practice, participants were able to explore different materials, experiment with colors, and engage in meaningful creative play.

Overall, the Painting Workshop at RAICES was a successful and enriching experience that highlighted the value of arts education and community programs. Under the guidance of Carolina Briones, participants left with a completed artwork and a renewed sense of pride, accomplishment, and creativity.
